LATERS JANUARY… Been a fairly tough month to start the year with but we’re nearly through it and there’s some exciting things to look forward to coming up! The lads are still pruning the bluebs and aiming to be done by March(?!) not sure how they managed to carry on the last few weeks but they did… In the flower field the soil has just thawed out so looking forward to getting some new plants in to the new beds :) In the workshop Becca has been making something exciting for installing later this week… And there was a trip to Bristol for the @flowersfromthefarm 2023 Conference which was a great way to end Jan and look forward to the year ahead! ….Starting with something at height! #januarybluebs #newchallenges #getyourroofon

SMILING THROUGH IT :) A bad start, a good middle, a difficult end, some big lessons learned and some exciting plans ahead…. So all in all, 2022 was good enough and a lot to smile about! :) And with challenges facing everyone this winter - we are strapping in, holding tight and are up for some more of the same in 23! THANKYOU SO MUCH to everyone who’s come by and supported us recently and indeed throughout the year - By doing so you have helped send £495 to the @wimbornecommunitygarden through Mrs B’s Jam, £125 to the Ukraine Crisis fund @britishredcross and £125 to the Poole / Bournemouth NHS charity @uhdcharity from the Christmas trees sold this winter all on top of keeping this weird shonky field, farm and barn setup running for another year! MEGA WREATHING! Wow - huge thanks to everyone who has been over to ours for wreath workshopping these last few weeks! Lots of smiles, mulled wine, and good fun - and all given the FRIGGIN COLD it’s been a really great effort by all!!
